What to expect?

The class will begin with an instructor led warm up, followed by skipping or shadow boxing.

Once the warm up has finished, the instructor will demonstrate a series of techniques which you will have the chance to practise with a partner (who will be as close to your age and weight as possible). In Muay Thai this will involve combinations including punches, kicks, knees and elbows.

After learning a variety of different techniques the class will finish with full sparring and often clinch positional sparring of which is monitored by the instructor.

What to bring: 

  • 16 Oz Boxing gloves

  • Shin/Instep Guards

  • Gum shield

  • Groin Guard

  • Thai Boxing Shorts

  • It is recommended that you wear hand wraps under the gloves
